Why Recruiters Wait to Tell You the Company Name
As a candidate exploring new job opportunities, it’s common to be excited when a recruiter reaches out about a role that seems like a perfect fit. However, if you’ve ever been contacted by a recruiter and found that they didn’t immediately share the name of the company they’re hiring for, it can be frustrating and leave you wondering, “Why don’t they tell me who it is?”
While it might seem strange at first, there are a few important reasons why recruiters often keep the company name confidential at the initial stages of the hiring process. Understanding these reasons can help you navigate the process and engage more effectively with recruiters.
Chemical Industry Outlook for 2026: Navigating Slow Growth, Structural Change, and New Opportunities
As the global economy shifts and industrial markets recalibrate, the chemical industry in 2026 finds itself at a crossroads. After a period of dynamic expansion earlier in the decade, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of modest growth, strategic realignment, and transformation rather than blockbuster performance.

1/3 of the Way Through Q1
Can you believe we’re already a third of the way through the first quarter? It’s a great moment to check in on how things are tracking, and particularly how much of your time is being spent on hiring. Even for roles that seem straightforward, the recruiting process can stretch out. How long does it typically take for your hiring process to go from posting, screening resumes, interviewing, to offer? What else could you have been doing with that time? How much does that time spent cost?
The first quarter tends to be heavy on hiring or the time when things start to ramp up. Hiring is a necessity, but it cannot stop the day to day work that needs to happen. Keep your hiring process moving forward by letting your talent advisors take on the time it takes to find candidates, weed through resumes, and screen candidates, so that you only have to coordinate interviews with a small group of hand selected and vetted candidates.
